Samsung Appliance Repair

Samsung makes up a big share of my daily calls — Family Hub and FlexZone French-door refrigerators, VRT Plus washers, FlexDry dryers, StormWash dishwashers. I repair them across Reseda, the San Fernando and San Gabriel Valleys, and the 210 corridor out to Rancho Cucamonga. Parts are widely available, so most Samsung repairs finish in a single visit.

Common Samsung problems we fix

Ice maker freezing up (French-door models)

The in-door ice maker ices over every few weeks because the fill tube drips or the ice-room seal lets warm air in. I defrost it, reseal the housing, and replace the ice maker assembly when the auger motor or heater has failed — a full assembly replacement is usually the fix that actually lasts.

Fridge not cooling / inverter compressor

A no-cool Samsung usually traces to a failed inverter compressor or a dead relay on the main board. I test the compressor windings and check board output, then replace the failed side — not both.

Washer 4C / 5C error codes

4C means no water fill (bad inlet valves or clogged inlet screens), 5C means no drain (full pump filter or dead drain pump). Common on both top and front loaders; I clear or replace the pump or valve on the spot.

Dryer runs but no heat

On Samsung dryers the heating element opens up or the thermal cut-off trips because the vent is packed with lint. I replace the failed part and check airflow so it doesn't blow again in a month.

Dishwasher LC error

LC (or LE) means the leak sensor under the tub got wet — usually from a slow inlet-valve drip. I dry it out, fix the actual leak, and replace the valve if it won't shut off.

I service Samsung French-door, Family Hub and side-by-side refrigerators, top-load and front-load washers and dryers, dishwashers, and gas/electric ovens and ranges.

Please review our service call terms:

• The diagnostic visit is $79. If you proceed with the repair, the full $79 is credited toward your repair — you pay only for the repair itself. If you decide not to repair, the $79 diagnostic fee is due for the visit.

• Built-in appliances: in most cases (about 60%) we can diagnose a built-in unit in place. Sometimes a full diagnosis requires pulling the unit out (extraction). Extraction is done only with your approval on site and costs extra, in addition to the $79 diagnostic fee: built-in dryer — $150; single built-in oven — $200; double built-in oven — $250; built-in refrigerator — $300. You may decline extraction and end the visit at any point — then only the $79 diagnostic fee applies, even if a complete diagnosis is not possible without extraction.

• Confirming your visit: before heading out, your technician will text you to confirm. Please reply — if we don't receive a reply, your reserved slot will be released and the visit cancelled. If you need to cancel, please let us know before the technician heads out; once the technician has arrived, the $79 service call fee applies.
